Family Portraits at NCMA

Have you SEEN a more photogenic family? I mean, seriously. The mom put this together kindof spur of the moment- and rocked it- everyone looks great and I love how well they fit into the modern architecture at the museum. Thanks for such a great session!

In keeping with their session ‘feel’ and also the feel of their home, they opted for acrylic blocks to show off their artwork and it was the PERFECT choice

Another student from St. David’s School who wanted to go out and play for a while. She brought several (really fun!) outfits and we had a great time creating artwork for her. She went Glam, and Playful and Trendy – and she brought tons of attitude to go with each outfit. I had such a great time working with her and I know in the future she’ll be able to look through the custom album we created for her and remember how much fun high school was.

Raleigh family photographer – Spring at the NC Museum of Art

Early March can be a roll of the dice for outdoor sessions here in Raleigh; one day it might be 65 and sunny, and the next is 40 and raining.   So, we just roll with it and see what mother nature brings.

For the *G* Family we had a very windy, overcast day – but no rain – so I’ll take it!  The wind was fun, and we had those great full billowy clouds, not just a flat grey sky.  Another win!

Their little man is 3, and that’s always such a fun age because they bring so much personality and can make a good time out of any situation.  A stick?  Nah, that’s a fishing rod, or a sword, or any number of other things.  3 year old boys love to climb, they love to run and they love having a time when it’s totally ok to be silly.

So here is Little Man W, running through the grasses, showing his muscles and loving our early spring day.
