Fall photo session dates are filling up!

So, my husband said to me the other day, “do you realize that we are closer to next Christmas, than to last Christmas?”.  Um, no, I really hadn’t thought about it – Gee THANKS!

And, I’m guessing that you haven’t really thought about it either.  After all – it’s JULY.    We’re all traveling to the beach and enjoying a blissfully relaxing summer (or, start of the school year if your kids are in year round schools).   Christmas is likely the very last thing on your mind.

I only bring this up, because sadly, he’s right.  Summer will end and then it will suddenly be fall.  Fall.  You know – back to school, Halloween, blue jeans and boots.  And if you are thinking about doing family portraits, or just need a few quick pics for your holiday cards – fall is when that seems to all happen.

So, to avoid the almost certain panic that will occur when you realize all the stuff you have to do in the fall – I thought I’d help you cross something off your list now.  Scheduling your fall family portraits.

This year, as always, there are a couple of options for you.  We can certainly do a full family session (one hour) and you can order prints or digital files just like you always have done.   Also this year, I’m introducing the Holiday Mini Sessions.  These are 30 minute session packages which will include 25 custom holiday cards, 5 digital files and 10% off all other ordered products, (and at almost $100 savings over the same items a la carte – truly a great deal)!

These will be best for you if your primary goal is to capture just a few photos in all your awesomeness to put on your cards.    If you are looking for wall art, or gift prints, a full family session is probably still the way to go.

The date for these holiday minis is not yet selected, but will likely be in Mid-October.  Please let me know if you’d like me to keep you posted when I select the date.

Additionally, my “Home for the Holidays” promotion will be the week of Thanksgiving, and is for all of you who have extended family coming to visit.   I extend the length of the session and waive the additional fees for larger groups and we have a great time!   If you have lots of family here that week, this is the perfect opportunity to get great photos of the whole bunch!
