Jueun & Brian have the coolest story, and I was so very happy to be a part of it! Jueun is a traveling nurse – meaning she moves from place to place as needed – so she isn’t usually in any one place very long – which I suspect makes it pretty difficult to start a relationship. She had been in Raleigh for a while, and was preparing to move on to her next assignment when she met Brian. Immediately she knew she had to stay here and give this a chance – so she cancelled her next move and stayed.  Turns out that was the right choice, because less than a year later, here they are, married.
The weather that day was iffy – the sun would come & go and it was sprinkling off & on – but we got SO lucky that just in time for the first look, the sun came out and we were able to do all of their pre-ceremony photos outside – just like she wanted.
Because they are both of Korean descent, they wanted to incorporate their heritage, so after the American ceremony, they both changed into the traditional Korean wedding outfit and then had a second, Korean ceremony, called the Paebaek, where they bow to their elders. It’s always so wonderful for me to see people bring family and cultural customs into their weddings, it makes them so much more meaningful!
The reception was fantastic –Â All Events DJ’s kept everyone out on the dance floor for hours – and the happy couple bade farewell and rode off in a super cool antique car –
Thanks again Jueun & Brian for sharing your day with me!
Love the look?
